Films exploring arts and culture - particularly those which don't take an advocacy position - are challenging to fund. These projects capture some of the most essential and intangible aspects of the human experience.
We've partnered with fiscal sponsor Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) to accept 501(c)(3) tax-deductible contributions for this project. IFP, based in New York City, is the nation's oldest and largest organization of independent filmmakers, and a premier advocate for them. Since 1979, IFP has supported the production of 7,000 films and provided resources to more than 20,000 filmmakers' voices that otherwise might not have been heard, leading to some of today's most well-known documentaries.
Thank you for your contribution of any amount, which will directly support the production and post-production of OBIT.
Tax-deductible donations can be made via check or credit card. Upon receiving your contribution, IFP will send you a thank you letter acknowledging your tax-deductible gift. Credit card gifts can be made on IFP's website via the link above. A 3% additional fee is incurred with credit card gifts. Donations will appear on your credit card statement as "Independent Feature Project (IFP Fiscal Sponsorship)". Credit card gifts are limited to $10,000, including the 3% fee. Credit card gifts larger than that can be made via multiple submissions.
